Connect your camcorder to your PC and the Video Capture Master application will capture video/image from it. Fit a TV tuner card to your PC and you will be able to watch TV with the Video Capture Master application as well as capture video/image from the tuner. Connect a USB camera to your PC and you can capture video/image with Video Capture Master. And if you want to come up with a tutorial, for example, you can record the desktop with the Video Capture Master application.

The Video Capture Master installation file is 29.4MB in size. You will be asked to pick the installation directory and choose if you want desktop and start menu shortcuts by a simple setup wizard that shows up when you run the aforementioned 29.4MB file.

A preview window is displayed to the left on Video Capture Master’s interface. Beneath it there’s a window that displays thumbnails of captured video and images. To tell Video Capture Master from where to capture video, there are several buttons to the right. What you see in the pane to the right depends on which of these buttons you click.

The functionality you can expect to get from Video Capture Master depends on the version you’re on. The Free version can capture video/image from the TV tuner, DV camcorder, and USB capture devices, it can take snapshots, it lets you watch TV if you have a TV tuner, and it lets you send video via email when the recording completes. The Paid version can also capture any part of the desktop, can capture video from IP cameras and from local sources, and it lets you upload videos to YouTube. But the Paid version does not let you send video via email.

Use Video Capture Master to capture video from a variety of sources with ease.

Pros

Getting Video Capture Master up and running will take little of your time. The interface is not difficult to figure out. Capture video/image from a variety of sources. Watch TV if you have a TV tuner. There’s a Free and a Paid version.

Cons

The Free version is drastically limited.
